1/2 cup chopped kale (ribs and thick stems removed)

1/4 cup choped celery

1/2 medium banana (1/3 cup)

1/2 cup lite apple juice
(We used Mott's Plus Light Apple Juice Beverage.)

1/2 cup ice

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

1 scoop (1/3 cup) protein powder
(We used GNC 100% Whey Protein Vanilla.)


Apple Kale Protein Shake

1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix, about 1 minute, until thoroughly combined.


Yield: 1 serving
