Ingredients


1 cup water

1 large orange (10 oz. before peel removed), peeled and pureed

3/4 cup Splenda

1/4 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cinnamon, ground

1/2 tsp. nutmeg, ground

1 package (12 oz.) fresh cranberries

1 large apple (9 oz. before coring), cored and diced

1 large pear (9 oz. before coring), cored and diced

1/3 cup pecans, crushed


People will rave about this as a side for the holidays. You can also use it as a special topping over sugar free ice cream. It's like draping the ice cream in a delicious fruit pie.

1. Mix together water, orange puree, Splenda, Splenda Brown Sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a crock pot.

2. Then stir in the remaining ingredients, cranberries, apple, pear and pecans. Mix together, cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.

3. Serve warm or refrigerate overnight to serve cold. You can even freeze portions to reheat and serve weeks later.

Yield: 12 Servings - 1/3 Cup per Serving
