Ingredients
fat free cooking spray
5 slices of turkey bacon
1/4 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 medium pear, cored and sliced
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 an 8 oz. tub of fat free cream cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 12-inch whole wheat pizza crust
(We Used Boboli 100% Whole Wheat Thin Crust)
1/3 cup reduced fat feta cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup fresh basil
OPTIONAL
1/2 cup sugar free imitation honey
(We used Honey Tree's Sugar Free Honey.)
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place tinfoil on the bottom of a rimmed cookie sheet and coat with cooking spray. Lay the turkey bacon slices out on the pan.
2. Mix together the Splenda Brown Sugar and chili powder. Then sprinkle the entire mixture over the turkey bacon; making sure each piece is evenly covered. Bake for 15 minutes until the brown sugar is melted. Remove from the oven and set aside.
3. Increase the oven temperature to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Stir together the cut pear and lemon juice, making sure to coat the entire exposed pear. Set aside.
4. In a mixing bowl combine the cream cheese, green onions and black pepper. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over top of the pizza crust.
5. Carefully remove the turkey bacon slices from the pan and chop them into small bits. Spread those bits evenly over the entire pizza. Then sprinkle the pears and feta cheese on top.
6. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until you see the cheese begin to brown. Remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh basil across the top. If you want an even sweeter taste, drizzle a little of the sugar free honey on top of each serving.
