CAUTION / WARNING
If you're trying to get in shape, you can't help but wonder about the amazing variety of supplements that are available. They promise to build you up, slim you down and turn you into that fabulous person you've always wanted to be.
Much of it is hype, and some of it is dangerous.
We at WeBeFit DO NOT recommend ANY supplements to ANY of our clients. ONLY a licensed Nutritionist or Medical Doctor can make those recommendations based on your individual needs. This is being provided for INFORMATIONAL and EDUCATIONAL purposes only.
Supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety, effectiveness or purity. There may be unknown risks associated with taking any supplements. There are no regulated manufacturing standards for companies that make supplements. There have been instances where herbal or health supplements have been sold that were contaminated with toxic substances. If you should choose to purchase herbal or health supplements, please only purchase them from a reliable source to minimize the risk of contamination.
What we can do is list the various supplements and include links to medical studies and testimony for you to learn more about what is available.
CAUTION: If you have any serious medical condition, are taking any prescription drugs or have any allergies, supplements can be VERY dangerous. They can aggravate the condition, render the drugs ineffective or even kill you. This is NOT something to play with.
If you should decide to use any supplements, ALWAYS consult your Doctor or Nutritionist first.
