Ingredients
1 can (15 oz.) garbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed and drained
1/3 cup fat free milk or unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup dark chocolate baking cocoa
(We used Hershey's Cocoa Special Dark.)
1/4 cup sugar free honey
(We used Honey Tree's Sugar Free Imitation Honey.)
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup Splenda
Assorted fresh fruit, crackers, pretzels or as a spread on a sandwich.
This is a dessert twist on a traditional recipe. With around 2 grams of sugar per serving, you can enjoy it on crackers, fresh fruit or spread it on a slice of bread with jam for a sandwich.
1. Put the first five ingredients into a food processor, cover and process until smooth. Serve with assorted fresh fruit, crackers, pretzels or as a spread on a sandwich.
