1 cup quinoa, washed

1 1/2 cups of Sparkling ICE Crisp Apple
(We used this instead of apple juice to dramatically cut down on sugar.)

1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk

1 Tbsp. cinnamon, ground

2 Tbsp. Splenda or Stevia

3/4 cup raisins

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1. Start by rinsing the quinoa or using pre-rinsed quinoa. Then pour it into a non-stick pot with the Sparkling ICE Crisp Apple and bring to a boil.

2. Reduce heat, simmer and stir occasionally for 15 minutes or until most of the ICE crisp apple is absorbed.

3. Stir in almond milk, Splenda or stevia, cinnamon and raisins. Cover and simmer for another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Stir in vanilla extract, remove from heat and serve. You can also refrigerate this and serve cold.

Yield: 4 Servings - Approximately 1 Cup Per Serving

You can freeze individual portions for easy re-heating later.

Microwave for approximately 2 -3 minutes. Keep the container open a little to allow steam to escape.
