buttery cooking spray

5 cups of apples (about 4 medium apples), chopped

1/2 cup sugar free honey
(We used Honey Tree Sugar Free Honey.)

3/4 cup light butter, melted
(We used Land-O-Lakes Light Butter with Canola Oil.)

1 cup of rolled oats
(We used Bob's Red Mill Extra Thick Rolled Oats.)

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1/3 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend

1 cup Splenda

3 tsp. cinnamon


1/4 cup almond milk per serving OR

1 scoop of no sugar added ice cream

Serve the apple crisp alone and it's delicious. If you want more of a cereal, top it with 1/4 cup of almond milk. For dessert, serve it with a side of no sugar added ice cream.

1. Lightly coat 5 quart crock pot with buttery cooking spray. Then chop up the apples and line the bottom of the crock pot with them. Pour the 1/2 cup of sugar free honey over the top of the apples.

2. Melt butter and set it aside. Mix the remaining ingredients, rolled oats through cinnamon. Then stir the butter into the rolled oats mixture until thoroughly coated.

3. Pour the oats mixture over the top of the apples. Lightly spray the top with buttery cooking spray. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours (or low for 4-6 hours.)

Microwave for approximately 1-2 minutes. Keep the container open a little to allow steam to escape.
