Ingredients


1/4 cup rolled barley

1/4 cup rolled rye

1 tablespoon black chia seeds

3/4 cup to 1 cup water

1 cup fresh raspberries

1/2 orange zested (About 1 Tbsp. orange zest.)

OPTIONAL

Splenda or stevia to taste


A tasty cereal that's excellent before a workout.

1. Mix together the barley, rye, chia seeds and water in a microwave safe bowl.

2. Heat in the microwave on high for approximately 2 1/2 minutes. Stir together.

3. Mix the raspberries and orange zest together with the heated barley and rye. It's now ready. If you like things sweeter, you can add a little Splenda or stevia to taste.

Yield: 1 Serving
