2/3 cup water

1/2 cup uncooked couscous

3 cups fat-free milk

1/4 cup Splenda Granular (Measures cup for cup like sugar.)

2 egg whites

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/8 cup Cary's sugar free syrup


Cary's Sugar Free Syrup to Taste

1. In a non-stick cooking pot bring 2/3 cup water to boil. Stir in couscous , remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.

2. Add milk and Splenda and bring to a boil. Stir continuously to prevent burning.

3. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue stirring until mixture begins to thicken. Whisk in the egg whites and vanilla extract. Stir until mixture becomes creamy (approximately 5 minutes).

4. Spoon into 4 bowls or cups and chill for at least 1 hour. Pour Cary's Sugar Free Syrup over the top to taste.

Yield: 4 Servings - Serving Size is Approximately 1 Cup Each
