1/2 cup no sugar added ice cream
(We used Breyers no sugar added vanilla ice cream.)
1/4 cup cinnamon crunch cereal
(We used Cascadian Farm Organic Cinnamon Crunch.)
1 Tbsp. sugar free honey or sugar free chocolate syrup
(We used Honey Tree's Sugar Free Imitation Honey.)
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper or chili powder
The classic version of this dessert is coated and frozen twice, then cooked in a deep fryer. Our version only takes a couple minutes to make, is still packed with flavor and has half the sugar and calories.
1. Put the cinnamon crunch cereal in a bowl and crush it. Then use an ice cream scoop and prepare 1/2 a cup of ice cream.
2. Take the ice cream and roll it in the crushed cereal until it's thoroughly coated. Put the ice cream in a bowl then pour the remaining cereal over top. Finally drizzle the honey over the ice cream and serve.
3. You can swap out the sugar free honey for sugar free chocolate syrup and the nutritional breakdown remains the same.
4. For a little surprise kick, sprinkle some chili powder over the top.
