Ingredients
2 packages (1.5 oz. each) Sugar Free and Fat Free Vanilla Jell-O Pudding
3 cups fat free milk
(We used Fairlife Fat Free milk because it's lower in sugar.)
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 container (8 oz.) low-fat sour cream
1 (8 oz.) container sugar free frozen whipped topping, thawed
(We used Cool Whip Sugar Free Whipped Topping.)
6 medium sized bananas (about 6.5 oz. each with skin), sliced
1/2 of an 11 oz. package of reduced fat vanilla wafers
(We used Nabisco reduced fat Nilla Wafers.)
We were sent this recipe from allreipes.com. The original version was called Aunt Betty's Banana Pudding. With a few small changes we kept all the taste but reduced the calories and sugar by a third. Make it for a pot luck or family get togethers. They'll love it!
1. Whisk together the vanilla pudding and milk in a medium sized mixing bowl, until the mix is dissolved. Then refrigerate for about 15 minutes, until it partially sets.
2. Stir the condensed milk into the pudding mix. Then fold in the sour cream and whipped topping. Finally fold in the bananas.
3. Spread the mix into a single layer of a 9x13 inch pan. Then spread 40 of the wafers over the top. Crush the remaining four wafers and sprinkle them over the top. Refrigerate until you're ready to serve.
