1/3 cup parmesan cheese, shredded

1 Tbsp. olive oil

1 pound 96% lean beef

1 green bell pepper, chopped

4 Tbsp. Nerds candy

There's a video called Getti Spaghetti. It features a Tik Tok star named Getti making a very unusual dish. We prepared it the way she suggested but found the spaghetti noodles didn't cook well in the middle of the meat and the baking time was far too short. However, Getti's idea of adding Nerds candy to bring out the flavor was inspired. So we made this easy baked spaghetti recipe with nerds.

You can prep everything the day before, cover it and store it in the refrigerator until the day you want to cook it. Just make sure if you take it out of the refrigerator, to set it on the counter to warm up for 20 minutes before putting it in the oven.

If you don't want to use beef, you can substitute vegetarian options like impossible or beyond beef in this recipe. You can also skip the Nerds topping and sprinkle basil over the top when you're done.

1. Heat 4 quarts (16 cups) of water in a large pot to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and stir it gently until all the strands sink beneath the water level. Stir again to make sure they’re not stuck together and bring back to a boil.

2. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook spaghetti for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Pasta releases starch as soon as it starts to cook. You have to stir it while it’s cooking to separate the pieces.)

3. While the pasta is cooking, whisk together the butter, eggs and parmesan cheese in a large mixing bowl.

4. When the pasta is done, drain the water. Then put the spaghetti into the bowl with the egg mixture. Toss or use tongs to mix the spaghetti into the egg mixture, so it’s thoroughly coated. Set aside.

5. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil, beef, bell pepper and onion. Cook the beef and veggies, breaking up the meat into crumbles, for 6-8 minutes. Once the onion is tender and the beef is no longer pink, it’s ready.

6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

7. Drain the beef mixture and stir in the pasta sauce, salt and savory spice. Remove from the heat and set aside.

8. Lightly coat a 13x9 baking dish with olive oil spray.

9. Put half the spaghetti in the bottom of the pan. Then put half the ricotta cheese on top of that.

16. Cover and bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Uncover and bake for another 20-25 minutes, until cheese browns, and it’s heated through.
