WITH REAL CHICKEN

1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once the skillet is hot, lightly coat with buttery cooking spray.
2. Add chicken; saute for 2 minutes.
3. Stir in the onion, garlic and black pepper. Keep stirring occasionally until the chicken is browned and the onions are soft, about 5 more minutes.

WITH PLANT-BASED CHIK'N

1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once the skillet is hot, lightly coat with buttery cooking spray.

2. Add Chik'N, onion, garlic and black pepper. Keep stirring occasionally until the Chik'N is browned and the onions are soft, about 5-7 minutes.

SAUCE

1. Remove chicken or Chik'N from skillet; keep warm.

2. Reduce heat on the skillet to medium-low, then add the remaining ingredients, BBQ sauce, bourbon, mustard, chili powder, garlic powder and scallions.

3. Heat the sauce ingredients for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once it's all warm, top the chicken or Chik'N with the sauce, divide into two servings and enjoy.
