Ingredients


1 Tbsp. olive oil

1 1/2 pounds flank steak or sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips

1 large onion (about 3 cups onion), sliced

2 large bell peppers (any color), chopped

3 tsp. (3 cloves) garlic, minced


1 can 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes (no salt added), NOT drained

1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

1/4 cup no salt added beef broth

2 Tbsp. brown sugar

1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp. ground ginger

1/2 tsp. black pepper, ground

1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (OPTIONAL for HEAT)


1 Tbsp. cornstarch (OPTIONAL for THICKENING)

1 Tbsp. water (for cornstarch slurry)
