Ingredients
1 slice 100% whole wheat bread, toasted
1/4 cup part skim ricotta cheese
1 tsp. fat free mayonnaise
1/8 tsp. No Salt Sodium Free Alternative
black pepper, to taste, ground
1/2 a medium tomato, sliced
1. Put the bread in a toaster and lightly toast.
2. Mix together the ricotta cheese and mayonnaise. Then spread the mixture on the toasted bread.
3. Cut the tomato into slices and put half on top of the ricotta. Then lightly sprinkle the no salt and pepper over everything.
4. If you want something hot, place the sandwich on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook it under a pre-heated broiler for approximately 3-5 minutes, until the cheese starts to turn brown. Then remove from the oven and dig in.
