Ingredients
2 slices of whole wheat bread
3 oz. sliced ham

2 slices lowfat swiss cheese
1 Tbsp. low-fat butter
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. dijon mustard
Have ham leftover from a holiday dinner? Freeze individual servings and then when you want a treat, make this ham sandwich.
This recipe is higher in salt. If you're on a low-sodium diet, you should consider another option.
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a small bowl mix together the butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and onion powder. Heat the butter mixture in a microwave until it melts, about 10 to 15 seconds. Stir it together and spread it across one of the slices of bread.
3. Put the ham and Swiss cheese on top of the buttered slice.
4. Spread the dijon mustard over the remaining slice of bread and top the sandwich off. Then place the sandwich on a tray and bake it for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Then enjoy!
