Cleaner Spaces Now
Provide cleaner and safer spaces for your employees and customers.
Fear of the unknown can destroy a company. Employees fear coming to work. Customers fear spending money in your business. Fear is destroying entire industries.
The only way to thrive in an environment like this is to make people feel safe again.
Most businesses have done the obvious. Increased cleaning, washing hands, requiring face masks and attempts at social distancing. Those are all good, but they aren't enough.
Doing the same as all your competitors won't make your business stand out. To gain customers trust, you've got to do more. This information can help.
We've put together checklists and ideas below that you can use to make a real difference. Steps you can take that go beyond a little extra cleaning. Things that offer real, verifiable protection and a safer experience for everybody.
The first sections you should read are all the methods you can use to kill bacteria and viruses. Cleaning solutions, antimicrobial surfaces, disinfecting lights and air purifiers. We cover both active and passive methods. Only after you understand the options available can you decide which will work for your particular situation. We also cover options being promoted that do NOT work, so you can avoid wasting time or money on them.

Once you understand the options available, go through the next page for general guidance on what to look for and things to do. The information is FREE. You don't need to give us an email address, phone number or anything else.
OSHA Guidelines for Businesses
The Department of Labor and the Department of Health & Human Services have released a document for businesses. It's called "Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19." It includes preparation and best practices to keep employees and customers safe. You can download that document here: Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19
How well are YOU doing?
With so much attention on cleaning, we were curious to see what was working. Things may look shiny and polished, but are they really safe? We purchased a device called a “luminometer” to find out.
(Click Here to find out how we test for germs & prove what works.)
(Click Here to find out how a luminometer swab test works.)
To test a surface, you rub a swab over the area. Then you put that swab in the luminometer. In under 20 seconds, you get a reading back. When that number is 20 or below, you've got a really clean surface. Under 100 is acceptable, but anything higher is a fail.
Then we went around public areas and tested random surfaces. What we found was astonishing. Shiny stainless steel tables showed higher levels of contamination than public toilet seats. Door handles were disgusting. Seats were crawling in germs.
We quickly realized much of that cleaning was for show. It looked good, but it wasn't making things better. Unfortunately, most businesses don't have an extra $2,000 to spend on a luminometer and hundreds more for test kits to check a few surfaces.
That's why we decided to offer on-site testing for Key West companies.
We can come into your business and test to see just how well your cleaning procedures are working. We swab high-touch surfaces and analyze them using our luminometer. In under a minute, we can determine how clean or contaminated things are.
During our visit, we do a walk-through to help you figure out changes you can make right away. Little things that dramatically reduce risk and eliminate germs, with minimal cost. Then we go over the big stuff. Steps you can implement over time to make lasting changes.
Our on-site visit takes approximately 1 hour. We will swab 5 surfaces as part of the package and show you the instant results. We are charging a flat rate of $200 for this service. You can get additional surface swabs during our visit for $7 each.
You can set up an appointment by calling WeBeFit at (305) 294-7928. One of our associates can schedule a convenient time.
Once you've implemented the changes, we can come back for a follow-up. We will test 5 surfaces for $100 total, with additional surface swabs during the visit for $7 each.
What makes us experts?
There isn't a single idea in these pages that are original. You read that right. These aren't pages filled with OUR ideas. These are the recommendations of experts across dozens of fields.
What we've done is put them together into several easy-to-use sets of instructions. For anyone who wants more in-depth information, we've included footnotes with links to original articles, studies and official policy recommendations.
We've also learned from experience. Since February of 2020, we've invested over 120,000 dollars in upgraded equipment and systems. We've figured out what works well, with minimal maintenance and what isn't worth your time. These pages will save you hundreds of hours and potentially thousands of dollars.
Always make sure to follow the official recommendations of your city, county, state and federal authorities. Do not follow this information if it contradicts what you are being told by government agents.
Why are we doing this?
Because there are three ways out of this pandemic.
The first is for 70% to 90% of the population to get infected with COVID-19. That's more than 250 million cases in the United States alone. Millions would need hospital care and a million or more people would die.
The second is by coming up with an effective vaccine and at least 70% of people getting the shot. As of this writing, there are several vaccines that have been approved and are being distributed. If you want the economy to come back, get vaccinated. If you care about your friends, family and loved ones, get vaccinated. If you like avoiding death, get vaccinated.
The third option is to drop the infection rate low enough that it dies out. That's where this information comes in. If businesses create safer spaces, they can keep serving customers without spreading the infection. Only if enough people take action can we defeat the virus without massive casualties.
